One of the deepest personal questions you could ask someone is unfortunately one we do not ask enough: Who’s your favorite actor? Your favorite actor should play a key role in your life. Your favorite actor is someone you could watch no matter your mood, somebody whose presence on the silver screen distracts from the fact that you just paid over ten dollars to watch a movie in a smelly theater with popcorn on the floor. Or, they could be someone you catch on TV, someone who gives you a brief, 30-minute to one-hour window of joy in the middle of your work week. For me, that actor is John Krasinski. As I believe any true Krasinski fan should, I’ve seen every movie in which Krasinski has starred, as well as every episode of his long stint as The Office ’s Jim Halpert. Thanks to my hard-earned expertise, I’ve rated each of the eleven films in which he starred. Game of Thrones Season 7 comes out July 16 th , and I don’t think anyone’s as hyped as they should be. It’s the biggest show in America right now, I mean, who hasn’t seen it? Well, I haven’t. But that’s okay, because even I’m buying into the hype. I’m about to break down the trailer for you and let you know exactly where your hype should be on a ten-point scale. Let’s break it into 15 second segments. 0:00-0:15 So much hype. Our first visual is from behind an intimidating woman walking forward, onto some sort of balcony. Her huge fur coat tells us she’s no vegan, and her short haircut tells us she has access to scissors, something she could potentially use as a weapon. The only sounds we hear are a high-pitched note and the click-clack of this woman’s high heels. Then she speaks. “Enemies to the East.” A quick cut to a shot of a very serious looking young man in front of a vast army of spears.
